Donate to Education

Sponsor an individual student. We can help you select a student from the list that we maintain. You can get to know that student by exchanging letters. Learn more about writing to a student.

Donate to the general education fund. We will allocate your donation to a student of highest need. These funds may also be allocated to purchasing school supplies

Donate to Health Care

Make needed medical treatment and medications available to those who cannot afford them.

Pay for special health-related programs. For a minimal amount, you can purchase mosquito nets for children and adults; they are essential to prevent deadly malaria.  Help to maintain and improve hospital buildings and purchase needed medical equipment.

Donate Clean Water

Clean water is an essential element to a healthy life. Help repair and maintain existing water wells, water pumps, pipes and other equipment. Your donations will also go towards the installation of precious rain water collection systems.

Donate to St. Brigit Church

Donations from the St. Brigit community are very small, but parishioners share what they have. A few shillings, eggs, chickens, bread, and an occasional goat. Yes, even a goat! A modest donation in U.S. dollars goes a long way!

Some of the needs include building repairs, church liturgical and educational supplies, clothing and food for the priest. One of the biggest and ongoing needs is fuel and tires for the vehicle that is used to get to the many "bush" churches or chapels that serve the 15 neighboring villages. Diesel fuel for a typical trip on Sunday can amount to over $50.00. Vehicles break down often, and tires wear out fast on the rough unpaved roads.

 Pray for Kowak

Include the Kowak village children in your prayers and let them know that you are praying for them. And, yes, ask them to pray for your intentions. Share your prayer intentions with us. We will start a prayer list and share it with you.
